I got the wah-wah pedal functioning and learnt a bit of slide, so my guitar playing has really been moving upwards. Aside from the usual, nothing else has really happened. Went to the reserve a couple times this week, one for a fun wedding and 2 days later, for a funeral.. It's weird how things can change from great to sour in a heartbeat.
My cousin's son Hunter Sinclair Straightnose passed away on Wednesday from an accident involving a vehicle.
A wake was held on Saturday at the Cote hall and the funeral took place the next day where he was buried alongside my Grandfather at the Keeseekoose cemetary.
Hunter was still an infant and didn't deserve such a short-lived life. Last time I got to see Hunter was 3 days before he passed away. He was crawling around the kitchen crying for his mother to give him a bottle so I picked him up and ran off with him.
I am very sorry for my cousin Priscilla and her husband's loss.
Hunter is in paradise now.

blarogh extended
Now going into details!
My faja bought grandfather's old fogey car (which happens to have a really cool exterior), so I've inherited the crappy SUV. It's a good starter vehicle, although there's a lengthy list of repairs.. Lights, wiring, heaters etc
I'll be going for my license May 4th, if I'm lucky I'll pass the first time, but if not there's always a 2nd try!
Once that happens, I'll be sure to hop into the SUV and go pick up one lucky contestant to drive around with me for an hour.
Camping, ah that's too long ago now. Long story short, terrible roads, enjoyed myself.
After camping, drove out to Denny's where I managed to somehow spend a nice $30 on a terribly cooked steak. Asked for a medium rare, ended up being a piece of meat fried on both sides for 10 seconds then served with some soggy fries.
Lanky Purple has been making some very good progress, now with a real official setlist IM HOPING after posting 20 other "official" setlists.
- Iron Swan
- 50 Million Year Trip
- Moby Dick
- Kalvin Henry Bonham drum solo
- Rooster
- War Pigs
That's from memory, I'm sure that's it.
And I think that's it for life at the moment.
and uh hey, over there is Desert Sessions
Buhbye
